The Philippine Discus Society was created by hobbyists, for the hobbyists. We are a group of discus enthusiasts, hobbyists and breeders who are interested in the advancement of the discus hobby, through education and improvements in the quality of the fish we keep and breed. Our goal is to educate the general public, encourage new members, provide necessary information to successfully maintain healthy discus and promote discus at fish shows.
PDS is not just a discus help forum. What started as a small group of discus hobbyists here in the Philippines has now grown into an international group of fish enthusiasts devoted to promote the entire aquarium hobby. Joining PDS gives you input, knowledge and tips on our beloved fish. PDS encourage the exchange of opinions, thoughts, suggestions, and experiences from its members. We are currently working on rules to govern the organization, defining discus standards, debunk discus myths and spread the discus bug.
